The eagerly anticipated opening of gourmet food shop Dean & DeLuca in downtown Bethesda has been pushed back to 2019. Developer JBG Smith had originally planned for a fall 2017 debut, but progress on the store has been stalled by design changes.
The project is located at 4749 Bethesda Avenue and is part of a larger overhaul of the area by JBG, which will also develop a 14-story mixed-use building at 4747 Bethesda Avenue.
