Something at home: I love the deck off our primary bedroom. When the weather is nice, it is so enjoyable to be out there. It's like being in an eagle's nest with views of the treetops, the neighborhood houses, and all the beautiful nature around. I have a table where I can work, along with lounge chairs where I can relax when I manage to steal a little downtime.
Someone or something meaningful: My team. My team makes my life so much better. They inspire me, they support me, they make me so proud. I love being a mentor and a role model to my team members, but what is so meaningful is that the support goes both ways. I know I can count on them to have my back 100% of the time, just as I will always have theirs.
Something unexpected, funny or little: My orchid plants. Some were gifts, and others I inherited from clients when they were moving. These plants are beautiful when they are in bloom, and then all of a sudden, the delicate petals dry up and fall off, leaving you with what might be mistaken for a dead plant. But if you give this special plant time, sunlight, and just a little bit of water every so often, when you least expect it, those gorgeous blooms will regenerate. I think there's a lesson in that. As humans, we are not always "in peak bloom" either, but if you nurture us and give us some time, we grow, and we bloom time and time again. It requires patience. My orchid plants remind me of this on a daily basis.

Something at home: I'm grateful for my balcony, where I can enjoy my morning coffee, read a book, or dine al fresco! Monty's also able to enjoy one of his favorite pastimes: people-watching.
Someone or something meaningful: Something meaningful that makes my life better is my community. I love running into my neighbors and fellow dog moms on my walks with Monty and taking a moment to pause and catch up!
Something unexpected, funny or little: Something small that brings me joy is my Crockpot slow-cooking dinner for me all Sunday. Easy prep, easy cleanup, and I get a nice cozy meal to enjoy on these chilly autumn nights.

Something at home: Our holiday decor! I love bringing the holidays to life and making our home feel extra festive and special. My absolute favorite decor item is Christmas lights! Beyond the tree, I love adding them to the garland on our mantle. They make me so happy, especially on those dark winter evenings when a little extra sparkle makes everything feel cozier.
Someone or something meaningful: Our incredible nanny, Morelia. She has become like family, caring for Teddy since he was just a few weeks old. Not only does she love him and our other kids like her own, but she anticipates our every need and keeps the house running smoothly when I’m busy with work, volunteering, and taking care of 3 littles!`
Something unexpected, funny or little: Tennis! An opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, spend time with friends, meet new people, and sometimes take out a little frustration on the tennis ball!

Something at home: One of my favorite parts of being home is my morning ritual. A warm cup of tea or coffee, some light yoga and movement, my gratitude journal, and a daily reading from The Daily Stoic. It's my little moment of peace before the day begins, giving me time to slow down, reflect, and start each day with gratitude and intention.
Someone or something meaningful: My support system - our team, my family, and friends. They have shown me what unconditional love, unwavering support, and genuine connection truly mean. They are the people who celebrate my wins as if they were their own, stand beside me through life's challenges, believe in me when I doubt myself, and remind me what matters most. From the biggest milestones to the smallest everyday moments, life is so much more meaningful because of them. I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by people who make me feel loved, supported, and inspired to be the best version of myself. I truly wouldn't be who I am today without them, and I will never take that for granted.
Something unexpected, funny or little: Something unexpected I've grown to appreciate is the changing of the seasons. I've always been a warm weather girl, but lately I've found myself loving the crisp mornings and cooler evenings. It's a beautiful reminder that every season brings its own kind of beauty, growth, and change.
