Carolyn Sappenfield
As a native Washingtonian with unmatched market knowledge and local resources, Carolyn Sappenfield provides real estate guidance you can trust. Her excellence stems from not only her years of experience and talent for problem-solving, but also her patience, generosity and the lifelong client relationships she develops. Born and raised in Bethesda, Carolyn graduated from The American University with a B.A. in Education. After teaching elementary school for five years, Carolyn transitioned into real estate in 2004 and found her true calling. Her love for the business and dedication to her clients’ interests quickly made her one of the region’s top-producing agents, and she is currently ranked in the top 1% of all agents nationwide. Carolyn and her team are proud supporters of several nonprofit organizations in our community, including Children’s Miracle Network, St. Jude’s Research Hospital, JUST TRYAN IT, Bike to the Beach, and KIND.
Amanda Hewitt
Business Development Manager and Sales Agent
A lifelong Washingtonian, Amanda began her career in commercial real estate development after graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2004. Amanda then transitioned to independent school development and fundraising, spending eight years as Director of Alumnae at her alma mater, Holton-Arms School, in Bethesda, MD. Returning to her passion of real estate, Amanda brings professional expertise in building relationships, customer service, and marketing/communications to the Carolyn Homes Team. A licensed sales agent and Potomac resident, Amanda has extensive knowledge of the area and enjoys being involved in the local community.
Jacqui Quila
Senior Operations Manager
A native Washingtonian, Jacqui brings more than a decade of experience supporting top-producing real estate teams. After several years expanding her expertise with a respected local builder, she has returned to the industry where her passion lies. Her strong background in digital and print marketing, transaction management, and client service ensures every aspect of the buying and selling process is handled with precision and care. Outside of work, Jacqui enjoys staying active with Solidcore classes, spending time with her French Bulldog Monty, and connecting with friends and family.
